What is Patriot Music?
Patriot Music is a site devoted to promoting music gear Made in America.
Why did I make Patriot Music?
For a number of reasons I decided to become a music locavore. I'm not anti-foreign - I certainly own many things made overseas. I just wanted to support companies that were close (and since I live in Pennsylvania "close" includes Canada).
I do most of my shopping online, and was dismayed that none of the online dealers note Country of Origin. So I contacted every company I could think of and just asked "Which if any of your products are made in America?" After I compiled the list, I thought I'd share it with others. Let me know if I left anything out or if anything seems wrong.
Why music gear?
I chose to focus on music gear because I'm a musician, so this is near & dear to my heart. Check out my band! I'm also co-founder of a small company that sells a music oriented product, that you can see here at EurekaSound.
